Roundtrip: Monte Faiè and Corte Buè. Panoramas of five lakes and the great wilderness of the national park.
We climb one of the most panoramic peaks of the region (Monte Faiè 1352m) and then plunge into the green of the silent Val Grande where we visit an old and abbandoned mountain village hiking on former mule tracks.
The traces of the past will tell us stories about woodsmen, alpine farmers and partisans, stories of a vibrant life nowadays forgotten and obliterated by the untamed nature.
Demanding hike. Altitude difference 800 meters, good fitness and suitable equipment (hiking boots) necessary.
Lunch has to be brought by the participant. Possibility of having an aperitif/coffee at the Fantoli hut at the end of the hike.
