Presentation of the Calendar 2011 of Val Grande National Park

( Vogogna, 01 December 2010 )The "Calendar 2011 of Val Grande National Park" will be presented on Tuesday 7th December at 5.30 p.m. at Acquamondo in Cossogno and on Friday 10th December at 9.00 p.m. at Arona Town Hall (former Aula Magna).

The author of the Calendar 2011 is Facebook or, more exactly, the community of "Friends of Val Grande" (about 1,300 people) using the famous social network and creating, by sharing the images collected in the field, those multiple visions that will mark the year to come.

It is in the community of participants, in line with the culture of the social web, that the look of the hiker/photographer is confronted with the look of the others, giving birth to a rich gallery of photos where the sensory skills characterizing the photographic look witness the various approaches and experiences experimented in Val Grande.

Of the 530 photos of the "gallery" in the page of Facebook, the Park has selected the most adequate ones for the publication, for size, subject, season, possibility to reproduce them, etc. involving 13 different photographers and transporting them from the virtual world to the paper reality of the Park calendar.

The calendar will be for sale (5 Euros) in the best bookshops of the Province and in the Park Head Offices from 10th December. Subsequently, it will be also available for the online purchase at Emporio dei Parchi.
