Presentation of the Itinerary

This Nature Trail leaves from Cicogna and leads to Pogallo, along a route allowing hikers to discover and appreciate the history and nature of Val Pogallo and Val Grande.
Val Pogallo is a surprising jewel case containing charming waterfalls, expanses of water reflecting the green woods, and small flowers coloring the grey stone walls of the valley.
Walking slowly through the nature of this “last patch of paradise” you will learn the tale of its woods and river, thus discovering one of the most fascinating itineraries in Val Grande National Park.
Along the route, ten panels describe some of the features of the territory through images and short texts. Twenty numbered trail markers alternating with the panels mark as many observation points, whose peculiarities are presented in the guidebook dedicated to this Nature Trail.
Moreover, Cicogna - the Park's small capital - allows visitors to choose other interesting hiking trails, such as the Nature Trail leading to Alpe Prà and which also joins a ring route to Pogallo.
