We reach Alpe Cavallotti (1160 m) through coniferous forest, where we will have an amazing view on the flat land and Lago Maggiore. After we have reached the ridge (1300 m) we can enjoy the view of the western section of Val Grande National Park, Monte Rosa and the Village of Cicogna
Following the (not very steep) ridge we will get to the summit of Pizzo Pernice (1500m) and finally to the inviting hut of Pian Cavallone (1560m). After a break at this lovely place (possibility to have lunch at the hut) we will go back on an easy and very panoramic track.
