Tomorrow the 21st edition of the Club Alpino Italiano National Hiking Week will start. From 8th to 16th June the Val Grande National Park organizes many excursions and events with the Coordination of East Monte Rosa Sections, Val Grande National Park and its official Guides
Among the events organized by the park authority:
The first will be held Sunday 9 June at the Vogogna Castle, where from 9.00 p.m., on the occasion of the In Cammino nei Parchi national day, will be presented "L'altro lato del paradiso", a book by Alberto Paleari, with the presence of the Park President Massimo Bocci and the President of the Central Commission CAI Filippo Didonato.
Tuesday 11 June, at the Verbania Teatro Maggiore, at 9.00 p.m., we will talk about Georesources and Geotourism: Via GeoAlpina del Sesia Val Grande Unesco Global Geopark, with Marco Giardino (university of Turin), Tullio Bagnati (Director of the Geopark).
Thursday 13 June, at the teatro Maggiore , from 2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. the conference La montagnaterapia will be held.
On Montagnaterapia it wil be also held a guided excursion on Friday 14 June along the Sentiero per tutti at Cappella Porta (Caprezzo).
From 8 to 14 June, at Teatro Maggiore, will be exhibited "Intrecci Passato e presente della cesteria nelle Terre di Mezzo" (a Comuniterrae project). The exhibition could be visited together with many events taking place at the theatre.
At Teatro Maggiore, headquarter of the event, will be present a Val Grande National Park information point with the Park Officia Guides for information about Val Grande and its summer initiatives.
