Parks, Workshops for the Future, on Display in Verbania
( 18 June 2010 )The first exhibit on the protected areas of Piedmont organized by Regione Piemonte will be inaugurated on Saturday 19th June at 5.00 p.m. in the premises of the Landscape Museum of Palazzo Biumi Visconti in Pallanza.
With the participation of the President of the Regional Council Valerio Cattaneo, the Regional Councilor for the Parks William Casoni, the President of the Province of V.C.O. Massimo Nobili, the Councillor for the Parks of the Province of V.C.O Germano Bendotti, the Mayor of Verbania Marco Zacchera, the Presidents and Directors of the protected areas of Verbano Cusio Ossola.
Moreover, with the participation of Toni Farina, in charge of the exhibit organization, from the editorial staff of Piemonte Parchi and Massimo Soldarini, in charge of the voluntary work section of Lipu which, thanks to the project "parchi in rete" co-financed by Fondazione Cariplo, has enabled the creation of a specific section in the exhibit dedicated to the parks of our Province.
Afterwards, tasting of local products organized by the Provincial Councillorship for Agriculture.
The exhibit will be open until 1st August, every day except Monday, 10.00 a.m. - noon and 3.30 p.m. - 6.30 p.m.
