The attendance of the Val Grande

Due to the continuation of the health emergency, it is recommended to visit the Park keeping a careful and prudent approach, respecting the coronavirus-related national and regional regulations, valid until October 15th.
Here are some recommendations:

Choose simple paths, such as our Nature Paths and therefore avoid more demanding paths;

Keep informed on weather conditions and provide family or friends with the place of physical activity and with the return time;

The good practice not to go to the mountains alone, to be self-sufficient and to be aware of your limits. We remind you that the choice of paths, on the basis of one's limits, must also be made in respect of those people who could risk their lives in rescue operations.
Keep the interpersonal distance of at least one meter. Gatherings are prohibited.
Itineraries lasting more than one day are not recommended.
We remind you also that all refuges are closed and the use of bivouacs and toilet facilities, where present, is not allowed. Even the reservations for the Pian Vadà Bivouac are suspended until further notice. For other bivouacs, please contact their management. The list of the bivouacs managed by the Park Authority, with their telephone numbers, are available on this page: www.parcovalgrande.it/Erifugi.php
The use of the tent is allowed only by booking its appropriate area on www.parcovalgrande.it/Etende.php
Camping is strictly prohibited.
We remind you that in the different sections of this website there are all information on the protected area, from itineraries to accommodation.
